Mindfulness is when one experiences the world
firmly in the ‘here and now.’ Often referred to
as the being mode - observing, describing, with non-judgemental awareness.
It is an ancient technique of meditation that originated in the East more than 2500 years ago.
This very simple approach, though at odds with our normal way of thinking, can be very helpful to people suffering loss, anxiety, stress, and depression.
